These are small doodles in acrylic & marker pen on M.D.F. or Canvass tiles.
They look good in sets & can fill a large space when put together in a grid,
but can also be easily transported individually.

I used to use this principle when I had to fill a wall of a club, or a bar, with artwork for one night & then have to take it all down again & move it on to the next place.
