Funky Red Dog
I Studied Fine Art in London, at Central Saint Martins and specialized in photomedia, printmaking & screenprinting. After graduating I painted backdrops & murals in various London clubs. In the year 2000, I Co-founded The Phood gallery on the Camberwell road. Then migrated to Brighton in 2002 to find some new things to do.
My artwork can be seen in the streets, bars and apartments of New York, Australia, Amsterdam, London & Brighton.
"He seems to work with whatever he has to hand at the time. From ballpoint & marker pens to spraypaint, pinstripe suits & galvanized wire. This always gives the work a unusual, but familiar feel to it."
My roots are in printing but I always liked the mistakes more than the perfect print. My work now is like that, although the processes are always very close to printmaking, the final images are still unique and have there own story. - Keep up with the dog at the Funky Red Dog Blog**Funky Red Dog - Artwork that Bites**
